Ieri tutta la città del Palladio, che, non però era padovano, è stata colpita dalla bufera che, superando ovviamente e di gran lunga quella dei miliardi di risparmi bruciati dalla Banca Popolare nominalmente di Vicenza ma soprattutto di Gianni Zonin, ha rovesciato ettolitri di indignazione sulla città colpita nella "sua immagine" non dalle malefatte, ogni altro giorno, dei potenti e dai silenzi dei complici compiacenti, ma per il manifesto con una ragazza coperta da una maglietta con la scritta invereconda "Supreme bitch". Si sono scatenati e sono stati megafonati dalla carta stampata locale il presidente di FestAmbiente Vicenza Adriano Vernau, Stefano Dal Pra Caputo, giovane consigliere comunale, oddio, del PD, e, doppio oddio, Stefano Poggi della locale associazione della Nuova Sinistra.

Dear Students, I have been on the road from our placid Vicenza for the past three weeks. I can reccomend the deelights of blablacar, the Internets site where you can seek and offer lifts online.
It was a hot morning, and I had a bit of a hangover when I met Simon at Mestre station, and four of us set off towards Belgrade. In Triest we picked up a couple of teenagers from Bari, and dropped off a couple. The teenagers were en route to Zagreb for some strange card tournament, with little plastic cards. I couldn't honestly understand the mechanisms of it. Nice kids, with their sunny accents, enjoying the first part of their long summer holiday. Continua a leggere

Dear Students, I have been on the road from our placid Vicenza for the past three weeks. Dear Students and VicenzaPiù friends and readers, it seems a long time since I was in Niksic, Montenegro, where I had a dental bridge installed. The bridge is still there, and I've had a few tasty steaks since then, so it seems to be in good nick.
I left Niksic on a hot morning, and travelled along the Montenegrin coast by bus, crawling through the little seaside resorts, where the main road twists along beside the sea, ther small hotels, and tourists in beachwear, down to the frontier town of Ulcinj. Continua a leggere

Egregio Direttore Coviello, la testata da Lei diretta - "VicenzaPiu.com" - pubblica un articolo ("Two little boys") a firma del sig. Robert Lambert, nel quale si afferma che non avrei risposto allo stesso autore dell'articolo in ordine al non accoglimento della proposta di organizzare corsi di musica e lingua nella sede della Circoscrizione 7.

The tragic sinking of the Concordia off the island of Giglio has brought to international attention what seem to be two sides of Italy - the famous order to the fleeing captain to return to his post - ‘vada a bordo, cazzo!'. This could be a metaphor for our newspaper's message to mayor Variati. Stop protecting vested interests, start cleaning up the local council as promised, instead of remaining silent.
One of our ongoing enquiries regards a council employee, a certain Diego Fontana, who has been acting manager of the council department responsible for the outlying areas of the town, or ‘decentramento' in Italian. Continua a leggere
