1) From August 23th to September 15th Luna Park is back in Campo Marzo
Luna Park is being built up in Campo Marzo for the celebration of Festa dei Oto - Semptember 8th.
The opening day is Friday August 23rd at 8pm. Filippo Zanetti - town councilor - will be present together with the Vincenzo Bollini band from Povolaro.Â
The web site www.festadeioto.com has put the whole celebrations program online with all the useful information about Vicenza, Campo Marzo and the history of the town fair dedicated to the Virgin Mary of Monte Berico. At the same web address you will also find the discount coupons for the carousels. Zanetti has commented: «Luna Park is part of Vicenza's tradition and assures hours and hours of entertainment to kids and families. The majority of carousel managers has shown a sensitive openness to maintain the last year prices». Carousels' timetable: from Monday to Thursday, 3pm-midnight; Friday and Saturday, 3pm-1am; Sunday, 10am-midnight.
2) A4 highway, Frigo (Pd): no to a concession's extension, yes to a new tender notice
Franco Frigo - national deputy for Partito Democratico - has replied to Stefano Valdegamberi's words about an extension of the present concession between Veneto region and A4 highway Brescia-Padova: «The extension could cause a deterioration in the relationship with Trentino region because of the present project. It would be better to let the concession expires and start a new project with the winner of the tender notice. It could be a good idea to include all the political subjects involved in the A31's plan».
3) Five Aim's trash bins have been burnt
In the night between August 20th and 21st, five trash bins for the separate collection of rubbish were burnt. The arsons also caused serious damages to cars and private properties in the proximity. Police is investigating. The total damage will cost 3m euros.
4) Aim's season tickets: facilitations coming from Cassa Rurale ed Artigiana di Brendola bank
Aim mobilità and Cassa Rurale di Brendola have announced the signature on a new agreement: season tickets and school stuffs (books, stationary, taxes and services) will be less expensive for the bank's clients and their families. The agreement is lasting till July 2014 and envisages discounts and facilitations for a maximum of 2000 euros per client. Pio Saverio Porelli - Aim mobilità president - :«With this agreement we want to stay closer to our clients' families. Furthermore, facilitate the ticket purchase it's also a way to reduce street traffic». Gianfranco Sasso - president of Cassa Rurale di Brendola - has the same thought: «We are trying to help families in their strong commitment in favor of their children's future».
